Visit Morningsun Herb Farm

Looking for a local nursery and herb garden? Do you need some succulents or drought tolerant plants? Would you like to know which plants attract hummingbirds? Are you wondering when you should plant your herbs? Are you looking for new herbs to plant?

Take a drive out Pleasants Valley Road and stop in at Morningsun Herb Farm. Rose and her staff will answer just about any question you have regarding plants. With spring in full swing, they can show you which plants are best for your area and when you need to plant them.

Check out their 22nd annual open house on May 6. Hands-on workshops, demos, and all sorts of good information await you. Walk through the hummingbird and the butterfly gardens to get ideas for your own space. Make friends with the donkeys. Rose tells me people come just to see the donkeys!

Find out about Tomato Days at the farm. I never knew there were so many types of tomatoes.

If you want to keep up with their activities, sign up for their newsletter or blog. More information can be found at www.morningsunherbfarm.com.

If You Go: Morningsun Herb Farm is now open Tuesday through Sunday 9 to 5

Located at: 6137 Pleasants Valley Road in Vacaville.
